At the heart of this story is Casale del Giglio, the Santarelli family's wine project and a benchmark for wine excellence in Lazio.

Always an expression of research, territory and vision, Casale del Giglio is the soul that supplies the Collegio's wine cellar, bringing to the table wines born from the same culture of quality and respect for raw materials. An authentic link between vineyard and table, spanning generations.

OUR

HISTORY

The Santarelli family, with over a century of winemaking tradition, has decided to revive the historic "Vini & Olii" in Piazza Capranica in a contemporary style, respecting the atmosphere of the old 20th-century wine shop.

Thus was born Il Collegio, a project with distant roots. The name derives from the adjacent Via del Collegio Capranica, where, at number 41, the registered office of the firm "Berardino Santarelli & Figli" was located, where it all began way back in 1924.

The historic Vineria in Piazza Capranica thus becomes a highly distinctive place, where you can stop to taste traditional Roman and Amatrice dishes, paired with select wines and signature cocktails.
